Personalizing Your Home Wall Decor with HoneyBabesDecor

Wall decor is probably one of the biggest things I struggle with when it comes to home decor. I always have such a hard time determining what to do on a wall—what size, color, etc. There have been empty wall spaces in my home for a LONG time—pretty much since I moved in here!

I am continuing to work on finishing my living room, but when I created this little vignette in the corner by the door, I knew I needed something on the wall. I upcycled this table with chalk paint and some music sheets and added this vintage milk glass lamp that was my parent’s from when they first got married. I loved the vintage, farmhouse vibe and pretty much knew that I wanted to hang something there that was personal—my favorite Bible verse.

When HoneyBabesDecor, a woman owned small business on Etsy, reached out to me, I knew immediately what I wanted to create for my home decor. I loved all the options she had, but I loved the gray wood frame with a white canvas the most. I knew it would fit perfectly with my decor and what I wanted.

After I talked with Lauren, the shop owner about my vision and shared photos of where I wanted the canvas, she immediately went to work creating my wall hanging. She knew what my vision was and provided a variety of different fonts for me to check out—which was so important for creating the perfect piece.

I think it provides the best finishing touch for this little space, and it is so meaningful!

If you do not want to hang the wall decor, I also was experimenting with it and loved how it looked on my fireplace mantle! These pieces are a great way to dress up a mantle, a bookshelf, or decorative tray.
