Betsy's Best Nut & Seed Butters: A Delicious and Healthy Spread for Snacks and Recipes

I’m always willing to try out new foods and dishes and try my best to eat as healthy as possible. Although I’m not a crazy health hut or stick to any specific diet, I do try to eat as clean as possible and watch my caloric and sodium intake. I like all natural products that are healthy, so I figured I would love to give Betsy’s Best Nut & Seed Butters a try.

I will be honest, I was not sure what to expect. I am used to my regular grocery store bought peanut butter and figured that this would likely not be very flavorful or tasty. I have never really tried a gourmet nut butter before! I decided to try out the Cinnamon Peanut Butter.

When I received Betsy’s Best Cinnamon Peanut Butter, I was completely wrong on it not being flavorful. It was super flavorful and tasty! The cinnamon added a unique and sweet punch to it, and it was slightly different than a regular peanut butter taste. Although it was not traditional, you definitely could still taste the peanut butter. I would have no hesitation using it on a peanut butter sandwich, toast, or in cookies! The chia seeds also provide a nice little crunch that make it slightly reminiscent of crunchy peanut butter. After reading some reviews on Amazon, some people likened it as a great alternative to Nutella! I can definitely see that. If you are not a Nutella fan, never fear—while it is a great alternative, it definitely still has that peanut butter taste.

If you go to the Betsy’s Best website, you can find tons of recipes for her butters. Some ones that stick out to me were the peanut butter cookies and the Carrot Noodles with Peanut Sauce, the Peanut Butter Soy Sauce, Peanut Butter cookies, and Asian Lettuce Wraps. After looking at her delicious recipes, trying out the Almond Butter and Cashew Butter are next for me! The Cardmom Chicken Marinade with Cashew Butter, and Thai Cucumber Salad with Cashew Butter (definitely need to make with my summer vegetables) all look delicious!

Even though there are so many great recipes you can make with the butters, from dinner to dessert, the simple recipes and snacks are another great and easy way to go. A way to use Betsy’s Best Cinnamon Peanut Butter with Chia Seeds for a quick, easy, healthy, and filling snack is to use it as a dipping sauce for fresh cut bananas and strawberries! This is so flavorful, healthy, and is a great filling snack to give you some extra protein and power during your work day!
