If you know me, I absolutely love wine!  And if love wine, then I love any type of food paired with it, including what else....CHEESE!  My mom is known for putting together an awesome appetizer or cheeseboard for wine tasting.  If you were following me for my birthday last fall, you would see the AWESOME charceuterie board she put together for me (that deserves a blog post of its own!).  That was one of the most fabulous things I've ever had.  Even though it was fabulous, and I'll probably be posting about it and how it was done sometime soon this summer, I absolutely love what she put together for Father's Day.   All the thanks and the credit goes to my mom on helping me with this amazing post!  I really wanted to feature this, as I know we all look for ideas for appetizers or wine tastings but may just need a little creative boost.  This is a great, easily replicated idea--especially if you are on a time crunch.

Not only was it easy and super tasty, the presentation was even beautiful!   It barely took any prep time, but when you look at and TASTE the spread, you think this took much more effort than it did!  The best part is that you can put these tray together for $25 or less.

I am hoping to do a full "Wine Tasting Party" post in the future, but in the meantime, I think this meets my current needs for a cheese and wine tasting.  I'm not sure about you, but sometimes I prefer these types of "cheese dips" over a cheese board, as these are softer, super easy to eat, and filling!

Here are the three Cheese Spreads my mom picked up from Heinen's.  She also did a pimento cheese spread (unpictured).  You could totally do your own pimento spread!  Here is a simple recipe linked up here.

If you are from Greater Cleveland, just hit up your local Heinen's to get these types of cheese spreads.  Local peeps, we got these spreads from the Brecksville Heinen's.  If you don't have a Heinen's near you, grocery stores do carry these types of spreads in their cheese or prepared food sections.  I know I've seen similar at other local grocery chains.

Here are the crackers my mom used in her spread.  Obviously, you can pick others, but these were a good choice for the dips!

Buying and putting the spread together is easy, but what about the presentation?!  I think that can be just as important as taste when entertaining.

You can pick up similar items for serving to what my mom used below:

And there you have it--DONE!  Just dish up the spreads in each of their separate serving bowls, place the crackers in their own area, and place it on a super pretty tray!  I linked up some similar items my mom used, but I'm sure many of you have serving bowls and pretty serving trays you can use!  The tray my mom used is older and from QVC.  Unfortunately, I could not find it, but I did link up some similar trays by the some company and from QVC.

One of my goals is to host a wine tasting party this summer or fall, and I think I'm definitely using this idea for a cheese spread tray.  it's so easy, affordable, and tasty!  Your guests will be grazing this tray all night long!  I also think this is great for a girls' night in or even a date night in with some awesome wine and conversation.  :)

Let me know what you think or what you have used for wine tasting!
