Express Spring Denim and Fashion Trends

As we are almost heading into March, I’m ready to start thinking SPRING and SPRING FASHION! One way I try to bring the season into the fickle month of March is through neutrals and closet basics. This is a great time to stock up on those items. Express has so many great spring and spring transition pieces, I had such a hard time picking out what I wanted to add to my wardrobe—there were so many cute things!

One thing that has been my go-to has been fitted shirts tucked into my high waisted denim. While I’m still trying to get on board with the “mom jean” look, I’ve been a huge proponent of the high-waisted denim and pant, as they are exclusively that I’ve been wearing! I further took this look into spring by updating my high waisted denim with a true denim blue jean with distressing and distressed ankle hems. I updated my fitted top with this light neutral snakeskin top, which I think is PERFECT as we transition into spring! It is long sleeve and warm enough for a chilly spring day, but it is not too heavy. I am LOVING this spring look.
