Integrating Classic Blue , the 2020 Pantone Color of the Year, Into Your Wardrobe at Legacy Village

Integrating “Classic Blue” into my wardrobe through the blue stripe detailing on this tee, the clutch, my block heels, and of course, denim!

Spring is in the Air! We have finally rounded the corner into March, and I am already anxious to go full on spring mode in my wardrobe. From storing away my sweaters to shopping for new spring things, I definitely have spring fever.

Aside from all the spring vibes, this is also the best time of the year to start thinking how you can integrate the Pantone Color of the Year into your wardrobe. Pantone is an institute that forecasts global color trends and creates color standards for designers to ensure colors continue to stay true to hue. This year, Pantone identified “Classic Blue” as the 2020 Color of the Year! If you know me, you know I love classic style, and nothing makes me happier than a classic blue.

In order to integrate this color into my wardrobe, I hit up White House Black Market at Legacy Village in Lyndhurst, Ohio (Greater Cleveland area!). This is a retailer full of classic style, and I knew they would have plenty of “classic blue” for spring wardrobe decisions! My “Classic Blue” Finds!

I was pleased to find so many great, classic finds in this fabulous color with MOST on MAJOR SALE! There were so many options, but these were some of my favorites. As you can see in my main photo, I picked out a striped tee with minimal lines of classic blue integrated throughout. I loved how this paired with this skinny distressed denim (I LOVED how these jeans fit!) and this fabulous clutch (such a great, unique find!).

Before I completely stripped down in my try-ons, I thought this beautiful wrap blouse would look great with my Spanx leggings (yes—use what you own when creating new looks!). Classic Blue and black is a great look, and I loved how the clutch and these fabulous block heels (you know I love a good block heel) rounded out the whole look.

Sometimes you can’t go wrong with a basic look, and I’m loving this Classic Blue 3/4 length t-shirt tucked into these fabulous skinny distressed jeans with the same block heel and clutch (Capsule wardrobe, anyone?). The addition of the jewelry is a great touch too.

The minute I put this on I felt like I needed to be on a Pan-Am flight in the 1960s! This dress is ALL me with the slinky, clings in all the right places fabric and the great necktie and silver button cuffs are the simplest details that bring this dress up a notch. I can easily see this paired all year long under a number of blazers and cardigans for work! Plus, these fabulous block heels come with bow clips—so it’s two pairs of shoes for the price of one!

These two items stole the show and completed all my outfits!

Sometimes all you need is a great accessory (or two!) and these two items (in Classic Blue shades) stole the show and were featured in EVERY outfit today! This clutch is classic and can be used in so many ways (day to night; office to weekend), and these shoes are great with and without these bows.

I fell even more in love with Legacy Village and White House Black Market today!
