Designer Dress Days: Couture Fashion on a Budget in the CLE

One of my favorite parts of being a Cleveland blogger is being able to learn about and experience the amazing fashion events in our area. I was so excited and honored to be asked to cover and feature the Designer Dress Days 2018 (DDD) event this month that is the National Council of Jewish Women/Cleveland’s four day sale of new, gently-worn, and previously-loved clothing, jewelry, handbags, furs, and fabulous accessories! If you love designer items but are a fashionista on a budget (like me) and live in the Northeast Ohio area, this is definitely an event that you need to check out to score some fabulous items for a great deal. The best part is that this is their FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY, so there will be even more special promotions! Keep reading to find out more!

A couple weeks ago, I was asked to come visit the Designer Dress Days warehouse to get a sneak peek on the great items that will be available to purchase at the sale. When I arrived, I was shocked to see the number of luxury and designer items available for sale.

When I first arrived, I just started to browse through the racks and saw designers such as Tory Burch, Burberry, Yves Saint Laurent, Escada, and Gucci, just to name a few.

After browsing all the fabulous items, I picked out some great things for me that I could try on! In addition to these designer labels, additional high-end, ready to wear labels, including Free People, Vince Camuto, Blank NYC, Madewell, and J Brand jeans, will also be a part of the sale. Some of these labels definitely made it into my try-on pile. If casual, athleisure is more your speed, don’t fret—there is plenty of Lululemon available too!

I am loving the pieces I tried on—they fit great and are great, unique designer pieces to add to your closet for the upcoming fall season. This Vince Camuto top can be worn all season, this leopard skirt is perfect as we transition to fall, and how funky this moto jacket is!

I also had fun checking out all the designer bags, including this fun Gucci and Burberry bag!

You must absolutely check this sale out if these are designer labels and brands you want to add to your closet for fall! The sale is THIS WEEKEND at the Mandel Jewish Community Center at 26001 Woodland Road in Beachwood, Ohio.

The sale kicks off with a preview day where you can get first look at all the fabulous items, this Friday, October 12th from 10:00 AM—4:00 PM, for a $20 entry fee. Starting Sunday, October 14th through Tuesday, October 16th, you can shop the sale without an entry fee! The hours for those days are as follows: Sunday, 10/14 from 10:00 AM—4:00 PM; Monday, 20/25 from 12:00—8:00 PM (if you work and want to stop any after work!), and Tuesday, 10/16 from 10:00 AM—7:00 PM.
